Image
The Ghanaian Parliament on Tuesday 21 November, 2021 witnessed a very ugly incidence when the minority in parliament made a move to attack the both the first and second deputy speakers of parliament.      The main opposition party hard vowed to reject the 2021 budget should the minister of finance failed  to remove E- levy from the budget.       The Electronic levy was introduced by the government as part of the 2022 budget to raise an equivalent of  Ghc7 billion each year which the govt. has said it would use proceeds from the levy  to finance roads, support planting  for food and job project, create employment for the youth, etc.       But the opposition in parliament has vehemently opposed the levy.
